Men’s Support Group

The Center sponsors a weekly support group for gay men. The group offers informal discussion and peer support in a safe atmosphere. Meetings are held every Thursday at the Center at 7:00pm

Livin' Out Loud

Livin' Out Loud is a group of self-identified lesbian, bisexual and transgender women, ages 21 through 35 who meet the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the Center at 7 pm.

Livin' Out Loud seeks to enhance the lives of young adults in Cincinnati by providing, a comfortable accepting environment, a forum for discussing connections between our personal lives and current social issues, the possibility of new friendship and an opportunity to strengthen the Queer Community.

Youth Support

Mission

The Cincinnati Youth Group (CYG) is a program of the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Greater Cincinnati. The program provides social opportunities and group support to Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender (GLBT) and straight youth 13 to 21. Meetings and activities allow youth the opportunity to meet other young people in the area for friendship and support. CYG provides an open and confidential forum where youth can share ideas, thoughts and issues affecting their lives. CYG is committed to providing educational and support services, social and participator activities, for youth 13 to 21 who are dealing with their diversity. The group strives to enhance the quality of life for the community at large by providing a positive outlet for youth and by fostering their growth in becoming productive participants in a changing society.

Vision

We all work for the betterment of our community and its youth by using rules and policies to promote the organization from the lowest levels of participation to empower youth in areas where they have the greatest impact. We do this without losing sight of the ultimate goal to work for the youth's growth and development. The community shares a common set of values for human co-habitation among its diverse population. We encourage the equal promotion of self in balance with goals of the community at large and continuously improving self to meet the needs of all in the pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. We promote human beings as integral and important participants in the community; hence, creating an environment that is not threatening or more difficult based upon diversity.
