Pride Alive 2008 - June 14th & 15th

It's time to show your Pride in Cincinnati!

Join your friends, family, & GLBT supporters Saturday June 14th & Sunday June 15th for the tri-state's Pride Alive 2008! Last year, about 15,000 people participated in the celebration.


This year's theme is "Celebrating Our Diversity!" The two day Pride Celebration will take place once again in Hoffner Park in Northside.


Saturday June 14th -
     Pride Music Festival - 4:00pm to 10:00pm - Hoffner Park in Northside


Sunday June 15th -       
     Pride Pep Rally - Begins at 11:30am - Burnet Woods
     Pride Parade 2008 - 1:00pm - Begins at Burnet Woods traveling to Northside 
     Pride Music Festival - 1:00pm to 7:00pm - Hoffner Park in Northside

    Get involved today by attending the next planning session held on the fourth Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is May 27th at 7:00pm at The Center.

     


    • Pride Night at Kings Island - Friday September 19th

    Pride Night at Kings Island returns for its 12th year.


    It will be held on Friday September 19th from 6:00pm to Midnight. More details to be announced at a later date.

    The first planning meeting for Pride Night at Kings Island will take place Tuesday April 29th at 7:00pm at The Center.

    • Outreels 2008 - Film Festival Committee Looking for People

    The planning committee for Outreels 2008 is forming. We still need people that are interested in getting involved to help make the third installment of Outreels a great success. Whether you are looking to take part in an organization or you are simply a movie buff, your input would be welcomed!

    We rely on volunteers to help with the success of one of Cincinnati’s fastest growing and most recognized community service organizations. A number of fulfilling volunteer opportunities are available within The Center for anyone who wants to give back to the community. Whether it's helping with the day-to-day operations of The Center or Special Events, such as Pride Alive, Out Reels, or Pride Night, there is something for everyone.
